While there are a few bright spots on this Cleveland Browns roster, the massive question mark surrounding the quarterback position might leave some weary about the future. It sounds like Deshaun Watson isn't going anywhere, and that likely doesn't instill confidence in the franchise. As we head into the 2026 season, how panicked should the fan base be?
Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report went through the panic level of every team as the 2026 season is set to begin, and for the Browns, Gagnon listed the team at a 3/10 on the panic scale:
"The immediate expectations are low, but there has to be some panic regarding the future and uncertainty at quarterback."For what it's worth, here are the panic levels for the rest of the AFC North:
- Baltimore Ravens: 10/10
- Cincinnati Bengals: 10/10
- Pittsburgh Steelers: 9/10
It is very obvious
that the Browns are at the bottom of the division, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. This front office has done a good job at putting together quality draft classes, and as the 2027 NFL Draft approaches, they will be in prime position to grab their future franchise quarterback.
