The Browns' defense has found itself in Week 3 after starting the week prior. The end result is that the defense has seemingly found the best way to create pressure, and that is bad news for opposing quarterbacks. Heading into Week 4, the Browns are on a short week, so there is not much time to prepare, but Jared Verse already knows what lies ahead.
While speaking to the media before Thursday's matchup, Verse spoke about the difficulty that playing Aaron Rodgers presents. He spoke about his release time and how that can affect their pass rush.
Verse stated, "If he's having release time of 1.2, 1.3, 1.2, 1.1, couple of them were at 1.5, that's who he is as a player. So when you get those kind of releases, you can't let it frustrate you as a D-line.
You just got to keep rushing."
This season, the Steelers have allowed Aaron Rodgers to be sacked eight times. For the Browns, they have nine themselves. If Verse and Mason Graham can continue to generate pressures, either one of them or Isaiah McGuire is going to continue to pick up the sack numbers.
