Fresh off a thrilling 23-19 victory over Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2, the Cleveland Browns return home to Huntington Bank Field for their 2026 home opener against the Carolina Panthers.
While the mood is high, Wednesday’s injury report brought a heavy wave of injury concerns across almost every position group.
Here is the full practice participation breakdown to open Week 3.
Did not participate
- Right Guard Teven Jenkins (Back)
Right Guard Teven Jenkins remained out as he continues to battle the back injury that has sidelined him since the opening week of the regular season.
With rookie Austin Barber continuing to dominate at the starting right guard spot, Jenkins’ ongoing absence doesn't alter the starting unit, but it keeps Cleveland’s interior depth stretched thin.
Limited practice
- Cornerback Tyson Campbell (Ankle, Hip)
- Safety Grant Delpit (Shoulder)
- Linebacker Quincy Williams (Knee)
- Defensive Tackle Mason Graham (Groin)
- Right Tackle Tytus Howard (Knee)
Wednesday
brought a massive influx of names to the limited group, headlined by vital contributors on both sides of the ball.
Cornerback Tyson Campbell, who missed practice time last week with an ankle issue before suiting up, was limited once again, now with a hip designation added alongside his ankle.
Given Cleveland’s pre-existing depth concerns in the secondary, his workload management will be crucial to monitor this week. Joining him in the defensive backfield is starting safety Grant Delpit, who was limited due to a shoulder issue.
Front-seven defenders were also peppered throughout the report. Rookie defensive tackle Mason Graham was limited with a groin issue, while veteran linebacker Quincy Williams logged a limited session with a knee injury.
On the offensive side of the ball, starting Right Tackle Tytus Howard is also managing a knee issue.
Full participation
- None
In a sharp contrast to previous weeks, not a single player was listed as a full participant while carrying an injury designation on Wednesday.
The silver lining, however, is that center Elgton Jenkins, backup center Parker Brailsford, defensive tackle Maliek Collins, and linebacker Carson Schwesinger have all cleared their respective designations from earlier weeks and are practicing without restrictions.
With several key starters across the secondary, defensive line, and offensive line limited to open the week, Thursday and Friday's reports will carry major weight before Sunday's clash with Carolina. Stick with us at Browns Wire for full coverage and updates throughout the week.
