The Cleveland Browns have now suffered another injury scare in training camp.
One practice after linebacker Carson Schwesinger was sidelined and not practicing with an undisclosed injury, first round pick and rookie wide receiver KC Concepcion has now suffered an injury. It came after he was the target of a pass over the middle, and he fell to the ground in close coverage weirdly onto his shoulder.
Concepcion stayed on the ground for a bit longer than usual, then got up and jogged off the field holding his shoulder in pain. You can see the full video below:

Browns need their young receivers early and often
Concepcion and fellow
rookie receiver Denzel Boston have been the talk of training camp to this point. The Browns need these two young receivers to completely change the face of their wide receiver room, which was one of the worst in the NFL a year ago.
Hopefully, this is just a stinger for Concepcion and not something more serious that will sideline him for a significant amount of time. We have not heard from the Browns regarding his status. We'll see if he suits up and is back at practice tomorrow when the Browns take the field for another day of training camp work.
