The last two draft classes for the Cleveland Browns have produced some impressive young players, including a couple of players who are ranked pretty high among rookies according to PFF. Number two on their list of rookies is Browns second-round pick safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warrent with an incredible 89.1 overall grade.
The young safety out of Toledo has been slowly getting more and more reps and has been stepping up to the challenge. His ability to trigger and close is impressive, and when he arrives at the ball carrier, he ends the play with force. McNeil-Warren has given the Browns defensive coordinator Mike Rutenberg a weapon to move around his defense and help confuse opposing offenses.
Coming in ninth on the list is the Browns' leading receiver
and their other second-round pick, Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston, with a 73.7 overall grade. Boston has been great and given the offense a number one target; if the quarterback play can get more consistent, his numbers will reflect how good he has been.
