Ohio State has long been a cash cow for Nike. Even though there are some who feel like the Buckeyes should drop the Swoosh since every dollar OSU brings to Phil Knight, he seems to put right back into Big Ten rival Oregon, but I digress.
In another effort to sell more shoes, Nike is releasing an Ohio State-themed basketball shoe, and this one might appeal to true ballers. Most players will tell you that the Nike Foamposite, which was originally released in the '90s, is one of the most iconic and well-balanced basketball shoes ever made. Every so often, Nike will re-release the Foamposite shoes in different colorways, and now they are giving Buckeye fans something to get excited about.
On November 5, fans can grab a pair of the collector's item,
and it looks pretty sharp. The cost is said to be set at a hefty $250. It comes in a white base with a scarlet swoosh and a Buckeye leaf on the back. But look a little closer, and you'll see the white is highlighted with Buckeye leaves. The heel pull strap reads "Go Bucks," and the tongue is emblazoned with the Ohio State logo. The shoes really are a thing of beauty. Take a look for yourself.

It remains to be seen if the Ohio State basketball team will wear these in games, but it would definitely be a sharp look. The Buckeyes kick off the regular season on Nov. 2 against No. 25 BYU at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
