The rivalry between Ohio State
and Michigan knows no end. The Buckeyes and Wolverines have been doing battle on the gridiron for well over 100 years. Each year, fans see the passion spill over as these two teams go toe to toe, with the winner having bragging rights for a full 365 days. Just because the men who played in the game graduate from college doesn't mean the rivalry is any less important. Don't believe me? Just ask New York Jets tight end Jeremy Ruckert.In a game that featured Ruckert's Jets against the Detroit Lions in Detroit this past Sunday, the former Buckeye tight end caught a touchdown pass as New York attempted to make a comeback against the Lions. Ruckert immediately jumped to his feet, with his eyes to the stands, spelling
out O-H-I-O with his arms in a clear jab at Detroit fans, many of whom, it can be assumed, are fans of the Maize and Blue as well.
For Ohio State fans it was a thing of beauty, and you can see it below in case you missed it.

Ruckert would finish the game with five catches for 39 yards and one touchdown. Another former Ohio State star, Garrett Wilson, finished the game with 10 receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown. Although the Jets would fall to Detroit, 31-24, it was a pretty good day for the former Buckeye pass catchers. And it's always a good day to remind people why this is the greatest rivalry in sports.
