It's that time of year when football starts to hit our television and streaming device screens again. Not college games, mind you, but the NFL preseason games are now underway. Seeing NFL players perform feats of athletic wonder once again also means we get to peek in on what some of the former Ohio State players are doing, since they are scattered all over NFL rosters, and it just so happens that one, Mr. Marvin Harrison Jr., caught a touchdown pass on Thursday night.
The Arizona Cardinals are playing the Las Vegas Raiders in a preseason matchup, and Harrison caught a pass in the back of the end zone that might look mighty familiar to some he caught while wearing scarlet and gray. With the Raiders up 7-0, the Cardinals faced a 3rd and three
from the Raiders seven yard line when quarterback Jacoby Brissett threw off his back foot while facing heavy pressure and dropped a dime to where only Harrison could nab it. It was Harrison keeping the play alive and breaking away from the defenders just enough to catch a perfectly placed ball with his outstretched arms for a touchdown.

Much was expected from Harrison after being selected in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Cardinals. He hasn't quite lived up to those expectations, but he's shown flashes, and maybe this is the year he puts it all together to become one of the best pass catchers in the League. He certainly has the bloodlines and talent to do it, and we'll be there to see how he does this year.
