Ohio State football will wear all-black uniforms this season for the first time since 2022, and it appears the Ohio State team shop may have spoiled the opponent.
On the official team shop website, the 2026 Game Day Hatpin Set features pins for all seven of the Buckeyes' home games this upcoming season. What was noticed by many was that on Nov. 14, in their matchup against Northwestern, the Ohio State helmet is black, possibly hinting that this is the game when the team will wear its "Tunnel Vision" uniforms.
This new version of the uniform was introduced in May when their new jerseys were all announced. The jerseys feature gray Buckeye stripes on the sleeves, designed to match the classic silver metallic color of the traditional Ohio State helmet.

The Northwestern Wildcats are coming into this season after finishing 7-6 in 2025, 4-5 in the Big Ten Conference, and a win in their GameAbove Sports Bowl. The program has not yet officially announced which game they will wear certain jerseys for, instead choosing to make that announcement on the Friday of game days.
