Well, it took a little longer than fans would've hoped, but the run game finally got going. Ohio State running back Bo Jackson took one 65 yards to the house, and it was a thing of beauty. Jackson saw a crease and hit the hole, outrunning several Ball State Cardinals before cutting it back to the middle of the field to reach the end zone.
Before Jackson's long scamper, the running game had just 34 rushing yards. That could be an area of concern. The Buckeyes may not need to have their best foot forward when playing Ball State, but with Texas just one week away, new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith will need to get this figured out quickly.
Either way, the Jackson run was fun to watch. Hopefully there will be many more in the Buckeyes' future.
Until then, watch the touchdown run for yourself and enjoy.
