It's one thing to get praise from your own fanbase or players; it's another thing to get it from someone who has no ties to the situation -- especially if that player is a former NFL All-Pro. If that's the case, then Ohio State running back/return man Legend Bey has to be smiling.
That's because former Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant noticed what Bey was doing in Ohio State's game against Ball State on Saturday afternoon and decided to give him some very high praise, comparing him to a former Heisman winner. It wasn't a long comment, but one that definitely made some take notice.
The post came as a result of Bey's short catch and scamper in, around, and through what seemed like the entire Ball State defense on the way to a touchdown. There's
no truth to the rumors that he cured cancer and brought about world peace on the way to the end zone.

We all know what Reggie Bush could do. He was about as electrifying a player as the college football game has ever seen. He was a human highlight waiting to happen and could take any play the distance if given a small crack, sometimes even less than that while starring at USC.
And having this compliment from Bryant, a player who was awfully good in his own right and played against many other greats, is interesting, to say the least. Bey has drawn rave reviews from coaches and players during the offseason, with Jeremiah Smith even claiming boldly that he'd either win the Heisman or be a finalist before his Ohio State career is over.
Bey didn't get a ton of touches, but there's no doubt he's got some pretty fun skill and ability to watch. Whether he meets all of these lofty expectations remains to be seen, but the football world is already taking notice with what little it's seen.
