Ohio State looked about like what we thought it wouldagainst an undermanned Ball State team to kick off the season last Saturday, but now it's on to much bigger things. On tap is a top-five matchup with the Texas Longhorns on the road, and it should be one whale of an atmosphere.
Texas has the players and coaching for this to be considered a talent-equated game, and you can bet that the team that executes and limits its mistakes will likely come out on top. Before each week's Ohio State game, we like to bring you some odds and predictions before the contest, and here's how things line up for the Buckeyes against the SEC's Longhorns.

Ohio State vs. Texas prediction, pick for college football Week 2
Phil Harrison, Buckeyes Wire prediction
Texas 24, Ohio State 21: Ohio State will
play well in a back-and-forth, physical affair. Both teams will serve up haymakers, both teams will make plays, and both teams will give up some big plays. At the end of the day, with the home crowd behind them, the Longhorns will make one more play behind a good game from Arch Manning to pull out a close one.
