Ohio State looked like it was on the way to a huge win on the road against a top-five team, and then the collapse in the fourth quarter happened, resulting in a one-point loss to Texas last weekend. And since it's the Buckeye program, the sky is falling in Columbus.
All goals are still on the table, however, and the improvement journey begins now as Ohio State prepares to head back home and host Mid-American opponent and in-state foe Kent State Saturday. Unlike last week, this one is one in which the wise guys in Vegas have the Buckeyes as a heavy, heavy favorite.

Ohio State 56, Kent State 3: Ohio State, upset and motivated by how things went in Austin, will come out with purpose and attitude. The offense will score early and often, and the defense will be relentless and disciplined, with some younger, talented guys in the mix to add to the veteran presence. The score would be higher if not for a second half that sees the Buckeyes work on getting the offensive line and running game going.
