Big Ten basketball media days will be held in Chicago during the second week of October, and on Wednesday, the conference released a list of which players will represent each school.
Ohio State head coach Jake Diebler will be joined by junior guard John Mobley Jr. and sophomore forward Amare Bynum at the podium to speak to the media and unofficially kick off the basketball season.
Diebler enters his third full season at Ohio State after finishing 21-13 overall and 12-8 in Big Ten Play last year. He led the Buckeyes to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in his tenure as well, though ultimately it led to a loss to TCU.
Mobley and Bynum return as two key pieces of a revamped Ohio State roster. Mobley, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 15.7 points per
game last season and is expected to take an even larger leadership role this season now that guard Bruce Thornton is doing his work in the NBA.

Bynum, a 6-foot-8 forward from Omaha, Nebraska, will be a key piece in the front court of the Buckeyes next season, offering elite athleticism that should add scoring and rebounding, and an open-court presence to finish around the rim.
The Big Ten Network will provide live coverage of Big Ten Media Days on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8.
