Ohio State will play Texas in Austin in what will be the first of many tests for the Buckeye football team. Both teams are ranked in the top five, and both teams are looking to start the season off on the right foot. While the action on the field promises to be an instant classic, some fans are curious what the uniform combo will be.
Earlier this year, Ohio State announced that it was tweaking its uniforms with the addition of the "Buckeye Stripe" and different color combinations. It was shared on social media just days before the game that the Buckeyes would be wearing a special-edition all-white shoe, leading to speculation that the team might break out its all-white "Sub Zero" uniform for that matchup in Austin.
However, that won't be the combination.
Instead, Ohio State will wear its traditional road uniform consisting of white jerseys and gray pants.

It was also announced that the Buckeyes will wear a commemorative helmet sticker honoring the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
