Ohio State did to Kent State about what we thought it would. The Buckeyes jumped all over the Golden Flashes early, then cruised to a dominating 59-3 victory to improve to 2-1 on the season.
Kent State head coach Mark Carney knew it would be a big challenge to waltz into the 'Shoe and hang with such a talented Buckeye squad, and he came away with nothing but high praise for Ohio State in his postgame comments. Carney did believe his team could have played better, but also acknowledged how talented the kids in Scarlet and Gray were.
