After a very impressive win on the road vs. a ranked Iowa club, Ohio State heads back home to host a Maryland team struggling in Big Ten play again. It's homecoming for the Buckeyes, and that's never a vote of confidence for a team coming to play one of the country's best programs, and the oddsmakers agree.
Terps head coach Mike Locksley understands the challenge waiting for his team on the banks of the Olentangy, and he met with reporters during his weekly press conference to preview the matchup. Locksley started by discussing how good the Buckeyes are, then fielded some questions about what he sees from Ohio State.
If you haven't had a chance to watch and listen to what the Maryland head coach said about the Buckeyes, we have his entire 18-minute-or-so
press conference for you thanks to the Inside the Black and Gold YouTube channel. During his time at the podium, Locksley praised quarterback Julian Sayin, calling him a dual-threat (okay?), was asked about containing Jeremiah Smith, talked about the NFL experience of the Ohio State coaching staff, and more.
Ohio State and Maryland set to kick things off at 4:15 p.m. ET Saturday, and we'll have plenty more in the way of previews for the game ahead of the Buckeyes running out of the tunnel.
