The game time for Ohio State vs. Oregon has officially been set, and it's what we all had expected for quite some time now. The game between the Bucks and the Ducks will kick off at 3:30 pm ET on CBS. With a later time slot and Daylight Standard Time going into effect the week prior, this should have the feel of a night game.
Both teams came into the season with national championship expectations, but each has gone in opposite directions. After a heartbreaking loss to Texas early in the season, Ohio State regrouped and has done exactly what it needed to do, and currently sits as the No. 2 team in the nation. Oregon, on the other hand, lost early to Oklahoma State, and the wheels have seemingly fallen off since. After a loss to Illinois last weekend,
the Ducks sit at 4-3 on the season and just 2-2 in the Big Ten.
Both teams are also dealing with injury issues at the quarterback position. Of Course, Julian Sayin has been ruled out for the foreseeable future, possibly for the rest of the year. Oregon lost its starting quarterback, Dante Moore, several weeks ago due to an illegal hit while sliding. Dan Lanning just announced that Moore is done for the year. So, as of now, Luke Fahey and Dylan Raiola will lead the two teams when they do battle on Nov. 7.

This will be the first meeting between the two programs since the 2024 Rose Bowl, when the Buckeyes beat the Ducks 41-21. Ohio State holds an all-time record of 10-2 against Oregon.
