The days after a loss at a place like Ohio State are a lot like going before the firing squad when it comes to media obligations. And so it was for head coach Ryan Day when he stepped to the podium on Tuesday because he had to know that inquiring questions were coming after a 20-point meltdown at Texas.
And so it was.
To Day's credit, he took them all, responded with accountability and resolve, and vowed to do better as the season goes on. To be fair, the Buckeyes will have to, because there's little room now for error with such a brutal schedule for the rest of the season.
