Maryland came into the game against Ohio State
with hopes of seeing improvement and being able to compete with one of the best teams in the country. After a 45-16 loss, it's not exactly what head coach Mike Locksley envisioned. Ohio State thoroughly dominated the game using a stifling defense, an improved running game, and a big-play passing game to continue its journey towards the lofty goals it set before the season.Locksley met with reporters after the game to react to what he saw during the game, and he was more than willing to give the Buckeyes credit for how they played and how talented they are. We like to always go across the field to the other sideline to see what the opposing head coach says about Ohio State after facing the Buckeyes,
and if you are into that sort of thing as well, we have Locksley's full press conference thanks to the Ohio State Dept. of Athletics.
Locksley praises Ohio State for the big plays, how talented it is, how challenging it was to try to shorten the game against a team that has an explosive offense, and more.

It now gets real for the Scarlet and Gray because this week the Buckeyes will prep for a trip to Bloomington to take on undefeated, defending national champion Indiana on Saturday. We'll have plenty leading up to that one as we go through the week.
