The Buffalo Bills head into their bye in Week 7 but some are hoping the team is still active. At least in terms of general manager Brandon Beane.
The Bills sit at 5-1 overall but have a flawed roster. Beane has already decided to bring in cornerback Tre'Davious White ahead of the bye, giving him more time to settle in.
That could make this the perfect time for the Bills to make a trade now, right? While fans usually just focus on what is acquired in a trade, you have to give up something to get something, and that doesn't always mean just sending out draft picks.
Could the Bills have a player they could offer up in a deal? FOX Sports has made the case for wide receiver Josh Palmer.
Palmer signed a three-year deal with the Bills in March 2025. His
stint in Buffalo has been underwhelming. The idea in trading him would come with the thought that a change of scenery could help Palmer, too.
So could the Bills move Palmer in a trade? FOX Sports makes in the case below:
Trade Candidate: WR Joshua Palmer
Henry McKenna: The Bills acquired Palmer with high hopes for what he could do in the offense, but basically everyone else has emerged while he has not. D.J. Moore is a crucial piece when healthy. Keon Coleman is finally emerging. Khalil Shakir is steady Eddie. And rookie Skyler Bell might soon earn playing time. That makes Palmer expendable.
