The Buffalo Bills filled an open spot left on their practice squad by signing cornerback AJ Woods to their practice squad.
At first, few were not sure how the Bills (3-1) had space on their taxi team for Woods. The answer has been found where that practice squad space came from.
According to Cards Wire, the Arizona Cardinals have signed a former first-round pick that the Bills had stashed on their practice squad in offensive lineman Jedrick Wills:
OL Jedrick Wills has 57 career starts at left tackle in his career.

The Cards made that move after the team placed former No. 6 overall draft pick in 2023, offensive lineman Paris Johnson, on injured reserve
last week following a biceps injury.
Wills himself was selected by the Cleveland Browns with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. The Bills took a flier on him and added him to their practice squad when the Browns waived him at the end of training camp this summer.
While Wills did not get an opportunity in Buffalo as the Bills' offensive line has stayed healthy through four games this year, he was still a strong option to have on the bench which is no longer there.
Bills Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2026 NFL season.
