Ahead of the 2026 NFL regular season, Connor McGovern has given a positive update that should soon change.

McGovern was initially injured during Buffalo's first open practice at Highmark Stadium. It was an undisclosed injury for the center, but he was spotted leaving the workout early.

Since then, head coach Joe Brady has consistently made a point to say McGovern would be back by Week 1against the Houston Texans. McGovern's own words matched that at practice this week.

McGovern returned to full workouts ahead of the season opener and gave a rave review.

"I feel great," McGovern said.
