The Buffalo Bills took the (practice) field for the first time in their new look for the 2026 NFL season.
Preparations are underway for the team's next game on Sunday as the Bills (2-0) will host the Los Angeles Chargers (0-2) in Week 3. When the game happens, Buffalo will wear their new (and controversial) Nickel City alternate uniforms.
As is tradition, the team practices ahead of a game, players will wear the uniform combo they will wear during the contest while working out. That means Wednesday's practice was the first time most players dawned the Nickel City uniforms.
During an open practice at Highmark Stadium earlier this offseason, quarterbacks including Josh Allen wore them. This time, everyone did.
At the practice, wide receiver DJ Moore
was wearing a red non-contact jersey as he works back from his shoulder injury he sustained in Week 2. Because of that, many photos and videos shared from Wednesday's practice feature him.
