The Buffalo Bills head into Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season with eyes all over their skill position players on offense but they need to have the right players in the trenches so they can flourish.
How has the starting five on Buffalo's O-line fared in their start to the year? It's hard to compare offensive lines head-to-head since there are few, if any, straight-forward stats like catches and yards to compare them.
The next best thing is Pro Football Focus analytics.
In the Bills' last game, the team defeated Los Angeles Chargers in a 24-16 final. Heading into that contest, Buffalo's offensive line was ranked as the sixth-best in the NFL based on the outlet's metrics.
The group has done enough to remain in that same position heading into Week 3 in PFF's
weekly rankings:
6. Buffalo Bills (no change)
LT: Dion DawkinsLG: Alec AndersonC: Connor McGovernRG: O’Cyrus TorrenceRT: Spencer Brown
The Bills got a mixed performance from their offensive line in the comeback win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday afternoon. Spencer Brown was excellent at right tackle, impressing as a run-blocker and allowing zero pressures from 33 pass-blocking snaps. Left tackle Dion Dawkins did give up three pressures but was dominant as a run-blocker, receiving a positive grade on 25.0% of his snaps compared with a negative grade on just 6.3%.
For those curious, the five teams with their offensive lines ranked ahead of the Bills in Week 3 are:
5. Chicago Bears (no change)
4. Philadelphia Eagles (down 2)
3. Indianapolis Colts (up 1)
2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (up 2)
1. Denver Broncos (no change)
