The Buffalo Bills have an All-Pro quarterback already in Josh Allen... but is Allen adding to his already impressive resume?
In one way, he's trying to as a team recruiter.
The Bills (2-0) face the Los Angeles Chargers (0-2) on Sunday in the NFL's Week 3 slate.
Former All-Pro defensive lineman and Super Bowl champion Ndamukong Suh will not be in Buffalo's lineup for that one. But one day? Allen gave his pitch.
Suh spoke to Allen for a spot on Sky Sports New ahead of Bills-Chargers. When the two embraced, Allen eventually made a suggestion to Suh: Join the Bills.
Suh mentioned that he's been "traveling a lot" and referenced how he's being doing so to follow Buffalo's football team. That's when Allen suggested suiting up for the team.
Suh has not played
since the 2022 season with the Philadelphia Eagles and he won the Super Bowl in 2021 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In their conversation, it is pretty clear it is a tongue-and-cheek chat and not a serious pitch by Allen.
But the 39-year-old Suh played along, making a reference to Aaron Donald recently coming out of retirement to re-join the Los Angeles Rams.
"I'd love to. Pull me out of retirement like AD," Suh said.
Suh was certainly a force at points in his career. The five-time All-Pro defender had 71.5 sacks in 199 career games played and was the No. 2 overall selection at the 2010 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions, having also played for the Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Rams in his career.
