The Bills are following up an eventful offseason and gaining steam and momentum as the start to their regular season campaign is now right around the corner.
With a new head coach who will have more freedom to call his offense in Joe Brady, the team's 2026 campaign is one of great interest to see how it will unfold.
The new role might see the offense open up more, especially with some new additions on the field. The team traded for veteran WR1 DJ Moore, and drafted several players who might make some impact in the receiver rotation like offensive lineman Jude Bowry and Zane Durant, and receiver Skyler Bell.
With Moore opening up the offense as the long missing boundary and deep threat target that can create more opportunities for the rest of the passing
game and offense in the coverage he commands, and his past success in Joe Brady's offense in Carolina, big things may be in store. Maybe even a Super Bowl appearance.
With that, here are five bold predictions for the Bills offense in 2026:

Is a second MVP campaign for QB Josh Allen loading?
Allen was able to secure the award last season without some of the weapons that have been added, as well as with injuries to key pass-catchers
Moore adds an important coverage spreading element to the field that was missing last season following the departures of then WR1 Stefon Diggs and WR2 Gabe Davis. Offensive coordinator Joe Brady has a preference for outside vertical routes that create space for crossing routes, which can both increase big plays downfield while opening up more opportunities for tight end Dalton Kincaid and receivers Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Curtis Samuel, not to mention the team's trio of receiving running backs.
If he can continue to protect the ball successfully and work out whatever the late-game play calling snafus were with Brady that cost a couple of potential wins in 2024, he could find himself in line for a second consecutive most valuable player caliber season.
1,000+ Yards for DJ Moore
Moore has gone for over 1,000 yards four times in his career, most recently for Chicago in 2023 and several times in Carolina from 2019 through 2021, including twice in Brady's offense.
He and Allen have found their rhythm during the offseason program and preseason action, and it's a good sign for Allen and the rest of the targets in the passing game that Moore will open up opportunities for.
If everyone eats in Joe Brady's offense, Allen and Moore are poised to help feed them, and the Bills new WR1 could yield yet another 1,000+ yard season along the way.
James Cook's Up Career Year
Cook has only gotten better each year since Buffalo drafted him out of Georgia, and is, according to him, a "little faster on grass" referring to the new Highmark Stadium field.
The RB1 has been on a steady rise the past couple seasons, with some ground to gain under his feet as he carries the ball during Buffalo's home games and a potentially increased role in the passing game this year, he could take it to the next level.
The Bills also play four of their nine 2026 away games on natural grass fields. Week 6 at Allegiant Stadium against the Las Vegas Raiders, Week 14 at Lambeau Field against the Green Bay Packers, Week 16 at Empower Field at Mile High in a Division Round playoff rematch against the Denver Broncos, and a Week 17 Hard Rock Stadium matchup against their AFC East rival Miami Dolphins.
Could a career year be in store?
Keon Coleman WR2
Coleman has produced in his limited usage over the past two seasons, although he's also missed time or been limited due to off the field tardiness and maturity growing pains have, in turn, limited his overall numbers.
That he's played in a Joe Brady "everyone eats" offense that relies on efficiency and distributes that ball around the passing game has limited the live game reps that he might normally see in another offense.
That being said, Coleman has shown playmaking abilities and potential, as well as a big game in last season's opener against the Ravens in which he was lit up on targets and catches.
He spent the offseason working out and learning from past star receivers like Stevie Johnson and Chad Ochocinco, and current Dallas Cowboys WR1 and his own relative, Ceedee Lamb.
Brady wants to elevate Coleman's role in the offense, and the young receiver knows this is a critical season for him to perform at the pro level. It would stand to reason he will be provided with and seize the opportunities to do just that, even to the extent that he comes in second in the passing game by season's end.
