The Buffalo Bills lost against the New England Patriots in Week 4. It was a heavy loss.

Not only does the win keep the Patriots (2-2) in the race for the AFC East against the Bills (3-1), it revealed some cracks in Buffalo's roster. Specifically, the defensive side of the ball.

The Bills had a brutal game on defense. Patriots quarterback Drake Maye headed into the game under a lot of pressure but thrived with three touchdown passes.

Because of that, the shortcomings on defense for the Bills were highlighted after the defeat by CBS Sports during a roundtable segment.

"I really do have questions," analyst Justin Simmons said. "We expect Buffalo to come and take advantage of a Drake Maye that was struggling."

"That was disappointing," he added.
