Before the Buffalo Bills even hit the field for the start of their 2026 training camp workouts, safety CJ Gardner-Johnson caught himself in an awkward position with head coach Joe Brady.
Gardner-Johnson, 28, signed in Buffalo earlier this offseason via a one-year deal. Known as an aggressive and talented defensive back on the field, off of it, Gardner-Johnson has had some dust ups. Most recently, his spell with the Houston Texans last season only lasted three games because he was unhappy.
Hopefully this is not a sign of things to come, but Gardner-Johnson was told to stop doing something in the Bills' locker room by Brady on Tuesday so it's worth noting.
Gardner-Johnson was livestreaming his first day of training camp at St. John Fisher University.
Earlier in the day on Tuesday, a video from Gardner-Johnson's livestream hit social media and it showed him and cornerback Maxwell Hairston saying hello to one another while Gardner-Johnson holds a camera as he walks around the campus.
Later on in his stream, Gardner-Johnson was still streaming when he entered the team's locker room and you can hear him being told not to do that by Brady as Gardner-Johnson cuts off the video.
