The Buffalo Bills enter the 2026 NFL season with a familiar plan.
Although the full philosophy will not be the same as Joe Brady is Buffalo's new head coach, but the Bills are still a team led by quarterback Josh Allen that has the goal in mind of improving in the postseason in 2026.
FOX Sports' Nick Wright has given his thoughts about the this challenge for the Bills during a recent roundtable. Wright is always a lightning rod of attention for past comments about Buffalo's football team and specifically the way Bills Mafia views Allen.
Wright did not praise Allen fully, but he was not unfair either, even praising the QB in one sense.
The analyst noted Allen's shortcomings but also gave Allen kudos as "the greatest Wild Card Round quarterback" the NFL
has ever seen. Then even in being critical of Allen beyond the first round of the postseason, Wright complimented Allen's mindset.
"There have has been a moment or moments where he can look to and say, 'If I was better, we could have gone on,'" Wright said. "I think he's an accountable guy. I think he gets it."
