According to San Francisco 49ers All-Pro fullback Kyle Juszczyk, this week was not the first time Buffalo Bills safety CJ Gardner-Johnson has spot at an opposing players.
Gardner-Johnson was ejected from his team's eventual 33-30 win against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 6 after cameras caught his spitting in the direction of a few opponents wearing the Silver and Black.
Gardner-Johnson has gone onto apologize for the incident against the Raiders, but per Juszczyk, the defender for the Bills has done it in the past. Juszczyk stated on social media that Gardner-Johnson spit on him last year during the 49ers’ matchup against the Chicago Bears:
This is the least surprising thing ever. @CGJXXIII spit on me last year when we beat Chicago https://t.co/VK0f4cBnNy

It remains to be seen if the NFL decides to suspend Gardner-Johnson. It seems likely he will be docked at least one game, which would be the Bills' Week 8 contest against the Baltimore Ravens.
Next weekend, Buffalo will be on their bye week. Gardner-Johnson and the Bills will have plenty of time to let the water... or spit... settle.
