The Buffalo Bills are nearing their Week 8 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday at Highmark Stadium.
We know where the Bills (5-1) land in power rankings ahead of their next game. Now, how about where NFL analysts across the media landscape have ranked their upcoming opponent in the Ravens (4-3)?
Here is Bills Wire's roundup of national media power rankings for their next opponent, the Ravens, heading into Week 8:
USA TODAY
21. Baltimore Ravens (15): Same old Ravens? They've blown a double-digit lead in all three of their losses … though getting outscored by a league-high 70 points after halftime in 2026 is a new twist.
Pro Football Talk
15. Ravens (No. 12; 4-3): It feels like the entire season hinges on the next two games (at Bills, Jaguars).
The Athletic
14. Baltimore Ravens
(4-3)Last week: 11
Sunday: Lost to Bengals 35-13
Something spooky: Derrick Henry’s mini slump
Maybe it’s because Lamar Jackson hasn’t played the last three weeks, but Henry has posted a success rate under 24 percent the last two weeks and a negative total EPA in four of his last five games. The legendary running back managed just 45 yards on 17 carries against the Bengals on Sunday.

15. Baltimore Ravens (4-3)
Last Week: 10
Week 7 Result: Lost vs. Cincinnati 35-13
Lamar Jackson's return won't fix all of the Baltimore Ravens' flaws.
So far this season, the Ravens have scored six second-half touchdowns and were the second-lowest-scoring team in the second half entering Week 7.
Moreover, you'd expect a defense featuring recent All-Pro-caliber players like Roquan Smith, Kyle Hamilton, Marlon Humphrey, Trey Hendrickson and an experienced leader like Calais Campbell to be better than average.
Given that head coach Jesse Minter is a former defensive coordinator, it's unacceptable that the Ravens gave up five touchdowns in a half to the division rival Cincinnati Bengals in an abysmal second-half showing at home.
According to CBS Sports' Tracy Wolfson, the Ravens were "shocked" that Jackson sat out Week 7, but he's confident about suiting up against the Buffalo Bills this week.
Jackson won't solve the Ravens' defensive issues, but he would give them a better chance than backup Tyler Huntley of winning a high-scoring game. Still, it's fair to be skeptical about this team's season outlook, which is why they've fallen in our power rankings.

12. Ravens (-2)
Without Lamar Jackson, the offense is ordinary. But it's the defense that was awful in the loss to the Bengals.

Super Bowl odds: +1300 (tied for seventh-best)
Paging Lamar Jackson, you are needed in Baltimore, stat. Jesse Minter tried to keep this team afloat while his star QB was out with an ankle injury, but it’s all come apart over the past two games, as the Ravens have scored a total of 20 points. Add that to their total defensive collapse in the second half against the Bengals on Sunday, not to mention their upcoming games against the Bills and the Jaguars, and they are standing on the edge of a dangerous cliff. Jackson is good enough to rescue them. But he better come back quickly.
Next game: @ Bills (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
Stat To Know: The Ravens surrendered 35 unanswered points to the Bengals after holding a double-digit lead, the first time that has happened in franchise history.

Best offseason addition: G Olaivavega Ioane
Ioane, the No. 14 pick, was selected to upgrade the Ravens' right guard spot, but he impressed the team by how he came to its rescue. After three centers were placed on IR, Ioane started three games at the position, where he played at a high level. "I do not know who votes for Rookie of the Year and all that stuff, but he is a very impactful rookie for our team that has done things that I do not know that any rookies have ever done," coach Jesse Minter said earlier this month. There is some injury concern with Ioane, who hurt his knee in the first quarter Sunday and did not return.
