The Buffalo Bills opened Highmark Stadium in style on Thursday Night Football against the Detroit Lions in Week 2.
The Bills (2-0) beat the Lions (1-1) in a 41-31 final, but it it did not even feel that close.
Buffalo flew out of the gate, which involved quarterback Josh Allen scoring the first ever touchdown at the new stadium. The Bills went on to score touchdown on their first four drives on offense and in the contest, Allen had five total scores.
The Bills also got running back James Cook rolling against as he noticed his first touchdown on the year.
Defensively, there were still holes, but there was never a moment in this one the Lions looked like much of a threat despite the 31 points they put up.
