C.J. Gardner-Johnson brought plenty of emotion to the Buffalo Bills’ celebration after their victory over the Houston Texans.
Following the Bills’ 36-31 win, Gardner-Johnson was seen in the tunnel shouting jubilantly with teammates, displaying the kind of energy and intensity that he played with in the game, which became a highlight from Buffalo’s postgame celebration.
Gardner-Johnson was released by the Texans in September of last year, just months before signing with the Bills in the offseason.
That gave him the opportunity to defeat his former team on Sunday and celebrate it in expected fashion wild walking off the field at Reliant Stadium

The
defensive back has established a reputation for playing with an edge, and that personality was on full display after the win. Rather than quietly heading toward the locker room, Gardner-Johnson embraced the moment and shared the excitement with those around him.
For the Bills, the victory provided an early statement over a Texans team expected to be firmly in the Super Bowl hunt this year. For Gardner-Johnson, it was an opportunity to celebrate a team victory with the same passion he brought to the field. CJGJ finished the game with eight total tackles and helped Buffalo make life difficult for Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud.
