Former Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer said he called his shot months ago.
On the heels of the the Bills (6-1) deciding to release defensive back CJ Gardner-Johnson, Poyer told the NFL on CBS Show that he "saw this coming."
Gardner-Johnson was tossed from a game against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 6. During some back-and-forth with members of the Raiders offense, it appeared in the midst of that, Gardner-Johnson had spit toward the group in Silver and Black.
The NFL went on to suspend Gardner-Johnson and after he served that suspension, the Bills have decided to part ways with him.
A longtime member of the Bills who played the same exact position with the team, Poyer said he felt Gardner-Johnson's dismissal was going to happen all the way back
in training camp.
