The Buffalo Bills finished their Week 3 game against the Los Angeles Chargers with their heads held high, taking a 24-16 win.
On the field, the Bills (3-0) looked the part of a losing team because of turnovers... but they were a winning one in the end. But how do the Bills fare off the field after the film has been broken down by NFL analysts across the media landscape?
Here is Bills Wire roundup of national media power rankings polls following Week 3 and heading into Week 4:
USA TODAY
1. Buffalo Bills (2): If you had a Nickel (City) every time they won while turning over the ball five times … you'd have, like, a dime. The still-unbeaten Bills have the reverse lights on while backing into the top spot on the heels of a performance when QB Josh Allen had three
giveaways. The Bills are 3-0 for the third straight year but should probably beware the reeling Patriots, the next visitors to the new Highmark Stadium.

1. Bills (last week No. 2; 3-0): The Bills are No. 1, but the Adam West Batman uniforms would be No. 32.

Sunday: Beat Chargers 24-16
QB confidence: Unshakeable
Josh Allen had three turnovers and a 54 passer rating, and everyone in Buffalo would still give him a kidney. Many would give him both. Even on a bad day, Allen scored two rushing touchdowns, becoming the first quarterback in the modern era with multiple rushing touchdowns in three consecutive games. In the last five seasons, he’s second in the league in non-passing touchdowns (55) and third in passing touchdowns (122).

Week 3 Result: Won vs. Chargers 24-16
The Buffalo Bills got to 3-0 on Sunday, and they may still be one of the teams to beat in the AFC. However, Buffalo's undefeated start to the season has included some concerns.
The Bills' defense still seems average at best, which is a significant problem when Josh Allen fails to take care of the football. And while Allen has statistically been a viable early MVP candidate, his ball security has left something to be desired.
Buffalo would have dropped its opener had Texans cornerback Kamari Lassiter not dropped the late pass that Allen threw right to him. Allen's three turnovers against the Chargers left the Bills flirting with an upset loss.
3-0 is 3-0, and there aren't many quarterbacks a team would rather carry into the postseason. However, we may not know if this incarnation of the Bills is any better than last year's unit until we actually reach January.
CBS Sports
1. Bills
It wasn't pretty against the Chargers, but they found a way. They turned it over too many times, and the offensive line was bad.

They had a ridiculous five turnovers on Sunday, not to mention 10 penalties, and Josh Allen was far from his best. But the Bills hung around and their MVP-caliber QB was still clutch when it mattered. That’s what Allen does better than anyone in the league, and as long as he’s healthy, they’re going to be a hard team for anyone to beat.
No, their defense isn’t great, but the tandem of Allen and RB James Cook is built to bludgeon and outscore opponents, so they’re fine in high-scoring games. And now, next week against the Patriots, they can turn the AFC East race into a runaway. The big test of their power comes in two weeks in L.A. against the Rams.

Fantasy surprise: TE Dalton Kincaid
Through three weeks, Kincaid leads all NFL tight ends in receiving yards and has caught 14 of the 17 passes thrown his way. He ranks among the top 10 tight ends in targets, posting the best catch percentage (82.4%) of any tight end or wide receiver with at least that many targets. Not bad for someone who was ranked as TE15 in ESPN's draft rankings.
