The Buffalo Bills got the better of the Baltimore Ravens in their latest game on their 2026 NFL schedule. The Bills (6-1) took another took another high-scoring affair against the Ravens (4-4) at Highmark Stadium in a 36-10 final.
Onlookers can learn plenty from such a game.
With that, here are Bills Wire's three things we learned from Week 8:
Regrouping
The Bills won in convincing fashion on paper. However, it was a different story in the first half. Buffalo's offense did not look steady early on despite winning by multiple scores at the end.
From quarterback Josh Allen to head coach Joe Brady, the mantra after the victory was that the Bills regrouped and honed in on their game plan at halftime. We learned doing that can work for this team.
Defense can play (opponent depending)
Ravens quarterback
Lamar Jackson (thumb) was injured on the first snap of the game for Baltimore's offense. That clearly put the Ravens behind the eight ball, as did losing top backup QB Tyler Huntley (toe).
Once Baltimore was down to third-string quarterback Joe Fagnano, the Bills defense thrived.
It's not the best measuring stick. But it's the hand Buffalo's defense was dealt and the unit took care of business. We learned this group can overpower a weak offense. The defense is not that bad.
DJ Moore has importance
Bills wide receiver DJ Moore battled through a shoulder injury to return to the lineup against the Ravens. He then fought through a lower-body injury during the game and finished it.
Moore finished with four catches, 82 yards and a touchdown. Not only was Moore's impact on the game felt, it's clear to see there is a trickle-down affect from Moore being in the lineup. Tight end Dalton Kincaid (4 catches, 86 yards, TD) and Khalil Shakir (5 catches, 64 yards) managed to have good games as well.
