Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Spencer Brown has his status up in the air for his team's Week 8 game.
Buffalo (5-1) will host the Baltimore Ravens (4-3) on Sunday. Last week, the Bills did not play entirely because it was the team's bye. Prior to that, Brown had been dealing with a back injury and has missed practice twice this week ahead of facing the Ravens.
Despite that, Brown explained the situation on Wednesday. While missing workouts, Brown said that doesn't mean he won't play on Sunday because head coach Joe Brady trusts him in regard to how he's feeling.
"Lingering stuff," Brown said. "I took enough drugs to sedate a small elephant in LA (vs. the Rams)."
"Taking it easy and smart," Brown added.
