TheBills got a boost on defense in their win over the Baltimore Ravens.
And it came from a rookie defender who was recently promoted to a starting role and lauded by his head coach for his "stickiness".
The Buffalo rookie cornerback recorded his first takeaway in Sunday's 36-10 win.

The defense had already established momentum early in the game. In the second quarter, Igbinosun was waiting deep in Baltimore territory and hauled in a pass that was tipped in the air by Bills safety Geno Stone.
IGB's pick was a play the team needed in the first half, as the cornerback read Joe Fagnano and intercepted the pass. His milestone gave
Buffalo's offense a short field, and Tyler Bass made sure it did not go to waste as Buffalo turned the ensuing possession into a 51-yard field goal to extend the Bills' lead to 16-7.
The defense would force three takeaways on the day and hold the Ravens to 144 total yards, sacking the quarterback four times with 12 quarterback hits spread across eight players, turning Baltimore's passing attack into a non-factor and limiting star Baltimore receiver Zay Flowers to zero catches on five targets.
Cole Bishop also blitzed into a forced fumble, and Landon Jackson and TJ Parker logged the first career sacks of their careers.
"I thought the defense game plan was outstanding. I thought the way we started the game was outstanding," head coach Joe Brady said to the media. "That's a standard by how they played, and it shouldn't matter who's on the other sideline, who's playing quarterback, any of that, I thought they finished, and I'm really proud of how they how they played."
Jim Leonhard's defense does not need every play to be spectacular but efficient, still it needs its secondary to capitalize when the quarterback makes a mistake. Igbinosun did just that.
It was the defensive coordinator's first time calling the game from up top in the box this season, and it paid off.
The milestone gave Buffalo a significant cushion in a game they ultimately broke wide open for a 36-10 victory. And for defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard and head coach Joe Brady, it was an encouraging example of a rookie stepping up in a defense tailored for that unit to impact games.
For Igbinosun, it became a career milestone with a direct impact on the Bills getting the win, and earned him a game ball from Brady in the locker room.
"First and foremost, I want to get a glory to go the Lord Jesus, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The ball just fell into my hands to be honest," the CB said to the press postgame. "That's what I do. I bounce back. I respond. I play corner. You know, some things are not going to go your way, but it's not about It's always about the next play and how you respond."
The defense and IGB appear to have turned a corner at just the right time.
"I think it's getting to the point of the season where we kind of know what we got and we're not trying to establish our identity," he added. "Feel like now we've created our identity."
