It is the first time in Rousseau's he has earned a monthly award from the NFL. The last time a Buffalo defender earned the honor was in December 2017 when safety Jordan Poyer was recognized.
That means this is the first time the Bills have had a defender named DPOTM for the first time in quarterback Josh Allen's career.
Rousseau opened the season with two sacks in each of Buffalo’s first three games. His
tally of six leads the entire NFL. Rousseau, Buffalo's first-round pick at the 2021 NFL Draft, has also put up 15 tackles, three forced fumbles and a pass defender.
