The Buffalo Bills have been held in high regard as being among the top Super Bowl contenders for next season, and their path to the playoffs may turn out to be a breeze.
The Bills added star wide receiver DJ Moore to a receiving corp that greatly needed his services this offseason.
With arguably the best quarterback in the NFL in Josh Allen, as well as the league’s leading rusher from last season in James Cook forming an elite offensive trio in Buffalo alongside Moore, as well as a strong Bills secondary, the team appears poised to make a run for the Vince Lombardi Trophy in 2026.
Bleacher Report labeled the Bills as having their playoff reservations booked for next season as the No. 1 overall team with the most favorable path to the playoffs.
”Josh Allen has led the Bills to at least 11 wins in six consecutive seasons, and the team hasn't missed the playoffs since Allen was a rookie in 2018,” Bleacher Report said. “This is a no-brainer, even if getting there alone will no longer satisfy Bills fans.”
The Bills rank No. 14 in strength of schedule for next season, according to Sharp Football Analysis.
However, playing in the AFC East is likely to provide Buffalo with four wins against the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets alone, while the Bills also have the strength to go over .500 in their remaining 13 games of the year, making a playoff berth with at least 11 wins next season highly likely.
