The Buffalo Bills offense has been excelling throughout the start of their 2026 NFL season.
There are plenty of numbers to prove that.
The 401.7 yards per game the Bills (3-0) have averaged is fourth-best in the NFL. Perhaps most impressive, the 33.7 points Buffalo has put on the board per game leads the league.
There is another one that backs the successes the Bills have that's a little bit more between the lines.
We can explain that with a question. Do you remember that time quarterback Josh Allen & Co. went three-and-out this season? Yes, that's a singular statement.
The Bills have only gone three-and-out on offense once through three games. That occasion was against the Houston Texans in Week 1.
That one drive being the only three-and-out has
given the Bills the best three-and-out rate early on during the 2026 season and it's not even relatively close. The second-best rate belongs to the Atlanta Falcons at 9.1 percent, trailing the Bills' number of 3.3 percent by quite a margin.
