The Buffalo Bills and wide receiver Stefon Diggs will not be reuniting during the 2026 NFL offseason.
Diggs, 32, has had his off-field issues follow him after last playing for the New England Patriots last year. Considering his free agency and past positive play with the Bills, speculation was curious about the possibility of Diggs playing in Buffalo again in 2026.
Reportedly, that's not going to happen.
According The Schultz Report's Andrew Schultz, the 32-year-old has found a new NFL home. Diggs and the Washington Commanders have come to terms on a contract:
Buffalo head coach Joe Brady recently commented on the idea of Diggs returning to the Bills but was mum on the topic. Much of it deflected to general manager Brandon Beane and Brady added
the team will leave no stone unturned.
For what it's worth, Brady noted he likes the wide receivers he has on his roster right now which did not point much toward an urgency to re-sign Diggs.
"Stef was awesome for us here," Brady said.
"I don't know anything," Brady added. "Look, here's what I love, I love how our receiver room is rolling now."
