Buffalo Bills head coach Joe Brady has provided the latest update on the injury status of starting right tackle Spencer Brown.
During the Bills' 37-34 overtime win against the Los Angeles Rams on "Monday Night Football," Brown departed the contest in the first half and was holding his back. He subbed out and Tylan Grable replaced him in the lineup.
Shortly after, Brown was declared out with a back injury and did not return to the contest.
Brown has previously dealt with back issues in his career.
As it currently stands with Brown, Brady said he won't know much until Thursday because Wednesday is going to be a lighter, walk-through practice for the team as they prepare to face the Las Vegas Raiders (3-2) on Sunday in Week 6.
It sounds like the Bills'
medical staff will give Brown a chance to see how his back feels during Thursday's more intense workout. Worth noting, after facing the Raiders, Buffalo is a on bye week. Brady was also asked about allowing Brown a couple of weeks to heal up with the week off looming.
