The Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns held a joint practice together on Thursday prior to the two teams taking the field in the second week of the NFL's preseason slate this weekend.
Joint practices are useful but often bring out fireworks. There were a few dust ups during the workout between the two teams, but the likes of Buffalo's C.J. Gardner-Johnson was not out there.
Gardner-Johnson still made his presence felt as he dealt with a calf injury on the sideline.
According to reports from Cleveland, Gardner-Johnson was giving Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders the business. Gardner-Johnson did so by giving Sanders a bit of a nickname: "Check-down King."
Bills S C.J. Gardner-Johnson not practicing but talking all kinds of smack. Earlier he was
yelling "Check-down King" in the direction of Sanders on the sideline.
