The Buffalo Bills will continue their 2026 NFL regular season on Sunday with their third game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Kickoff from Highmark Stadium is at 1 p.m.
The Chargers enter this one still looking for their first win, with their record sitting at 0-2. Meanwhile, the Bills have started well at 2-0. Between two such teams, what should you keep in mind during the contest?
With that, here are Bills Wire's five things to watch for in Week 3:
How the Bills start
This game has "trap" written all over it for the Bills. The Chargers are off to brutal start, losing to the Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders to start the season.
Who lines up at wide receiver?
The Bills' injury bug has settled in the wide receiver room this week. DJ Moore (shoulder) excited last week's game early but was
wearing a red non-contact jersey during Wednesday's practice. He needs to improve from such a status if Moore is going to play, similar to Keon Coleman (ankle), was not seen at all during the same practice.
The Bills could be down two wide receivers.
Banged up Bolts position
The Bills will have a big advantage on defense against the Chargers because they are down their top two tight ends. Los Angeles head coach Jim Harbaugh announced on Monday that the Chargers have placed their top two tight ends on injured reserve, Charlie Kolar and David Njoku.
How do the Chargers try to deal with that against the Bills defense?
Not allowing 31 points
This one is simple: In their first two games, Buffalo's defense allowed 31 points in both of them. Can the Bills manage to allow less than that, finally?
Letting Josh fly
This is in reference to another trend the Bills have had going on their first two games of the season. Quarterback Josh Allen is off to a MVP start. Allen has nine total touchdowns (5 passing) to start the 2026 season.
Can he keep that pace up?
