The Buffalo Bills are looking to stay in the win column against the LA Rams.
The Bills (4-1) visit the Raiders (3-2) at Allegiant Stadium. It will be an 4:25 p.m. kickoff on the NFL's Week 6 slate.
Being AFC foes with winning records, this game could still mean something big down the line. How can Buffalo get the upper hand in this one?
Here are Bills Wire's three keys to victory against the Raiders:
Make Cook confident
Running back James Cook's fumbling issue has been on full display this week, it needs no introduction. But giving the ball to Cook will be important in this one as Buffalo's offensive line should win this battle against the Raiders' defensive line in Week 6, which has left something to be desired this season.
There should be room for Cook to work, as
long as he comes into this one with confidence after his fumbles.
Get to Kirk
The Raiders will be looking to get back to winning ways, however, Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins could become trigger happy in this one of the Bills offense is scoring. Cousins is prone to put the ball up for turnovers... but there is no reason to trust Buffalo's secondary at this point.
But there is reason to have faith in the Bills' pass rush. If Greg Rousseau & Co. can get to Cousins, there could be turnovers.
Fix the mechanics
Bills quarterback Josh Allen has announced he is working on his throwing mechanics this week. That's admirable, but those need to be fixed by Sunday. The Bills cannot afford to be a one-dimensional offense with a QB that can't get the ball down the field.
