Josh Allen has noticed who's in the crowd during Bills road games.
Buffalo beat the Las Vegas Raiders 33-30 on Sunday. It was the second straight road game Buffalo won by one score, coming right after the overtime win over the Rams.
The QB pointed to the Allegiant Stadium crowd as part of the reason.
"The last two weeks, the number of fans we've had in both stadiums has been pretty remarkable. It feeds us, and we play better when we can feel that energy and feel that juice. That's what they bring to us," Allen said.
Bills Mafia traveling in numbers is nothing new. Still, turning a hostile building into something closer to neutral ground matters for a team trying to make plays on crucial downs and close out tight games late.
Fans of opponents notably
show out in tourism friendly major cities as well, such as L.A. where the club beat the Rams last week, and Las Vegas, where Buffalonians make the trip and find local transplant gathering places like Chris Palmeri's Naked City Pizza.
Western New York has continued to do just that, making the pilgrimage to where Buffalo roams next each week on their road trip.
The team now sits at 5-1 heading into its bye week, coming in at a useful time during which players can get rested and healthier, while the coaching staff helps them to clean up any areas that kept their last two games as close as they were.
After the bye, another road game awaits against the Ravens in Baltimore.
A road trip for Buffalo fans versus a flight, it will be no surprise to see them flock to fill out the stands.
