The Buffalo Bills were named a potential landing spot for a former All-Pro player and Super Bowl champion who was a thorn in their side for years.
MMQB's Albert Breer spoke via the "Dan Patrick Show" on ESPN and revealed which teams he believes free agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill could potentially sign for if he makes a return to the NFL. The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs were the two suitors suggested.
"If I had to guess right now, I'd say Kansas City or Buffalo," Breer said. " I think he's motivated to continue to his career--but I don't know what percentage of him we're getting."
Both the Bills (3-1) and Chiefs (4-0) are similar teams with top quarterbacks and recent injuries to their wide receiver room. However, DJ Moore (shoulder)
reportedly does not have a long-term injury and Hill previously played in Kansas City so the connection would clearly be stronger.
During Hill's time with the Chiefs, he was a problem for the Bills.
Hill has not played football in over a year because of the brutal leg injury he sustained with the Miami Dolphins. Not only could his health be an issue, Hill is now 32 and past his prime. But a team could still consider him an upgrade to their current roster.
The Bills next face the Los Angeles Rams (2-2) on "Monday Night Football" in Week 5.
