Ryan Clark, former ESPN NFL analyst now with Pivot Sports, was very critical of the way Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen played against the New England Patriots in Week 4.
The Bills (3-1) suffered their first loss in a 29-26 final of the year to the Patriots (2-2) and Allen's play has been highlighted by many. Allen threw an interception in the dying minutes and he did not get another chance to tie or win it.
Clark's criticism clearly went a bit deeper than most, though.
Clark went back to the 2026 NFL offseason from this summer to say Allen was "anointed the NFL's great" at that time and suggested it was unwarranted following the QBs play vs. the Patriots.
Was Clark's breakdown too far or justified?

Josh Allen was anointed the NFL’s “greatest” this offseason—a rare distinction for someone without a championship. He’s made enough late-game plays to keep the Bills undefeated, but eventually the mistakes were going to cost them.
